I used to live in L.A. and ride the strand, back in the 80s. Frankly we were a little overwhelmed by the expanse of the city, but looking at people riding the strand, imagining perfect 80 degree temps, I miss it. I'm stuck with 102 degrees in Texas. Bleh.
