Raleigh and Robin Hood

While visiting my grandma in Tennessee, I recalled the pair of old bicycles in her garage that my sister and I used to play around on when we were younger. Digging them out from behind the lawnmower, I found an adorable pair of British bikes, a Raleigh and a Robin Hood. After a little dusting off of cobwebs, I took them out for a spin.

I particularly like the copper color of the Raleigh and the dashing Robin Hood figure who serves as that brand's logo. I hope someday these bikes find a new home where they'll get to come out of the garage more often.

  1. What finds! I'm a fan of that copper color, too. Your grandmother must live in a warmer part of TN than I do. :)

  3. My grandma lives in Pulaski (these photos were taken ~Dec. 22nd). I wanted to take both of these bikes home with me! With a little TLC, they both have years of use left in them.

  4. You should take them to a local bike shop and have them pack and ship them for you. Should not be too expensive.
